Storaby started with a simple observation - and a personal one.

We noticed something missing in the UK market. Personalised children’s books existed, but the quality rarely matched the promise. Illustrations that looked nothing like the child. Print that felt cheap. A product that didn’t quite live up to the moment it was supposed to create. We believed it could be done properly. A book where your child genuinely sees themselves on every page. Printed beautifully. Delivered to your door. But there was a deeper reason too.

Our eldest son is autistic, and like many autistic children, he finds change hard. New situations, new places, new routines – they can feel overwhelming. What we discovered was that stories have a remarkable power to help. A book that puts your child at the centre of a new experience – starting school, a new baby arriving, moving somewhere unfamiliar – gives them a way to explore that change safely, at their own pace, in their own world. That’s when Storaby became something more than a business idea.

Every book we create is designed to be two things at once: a keepsake a family will treasure, and a quiet, gentle tool that helps a child face whatever comes next. We think those two things go hand in hand. We’re a small British company, and we care deeply about what we’re building. We hope it shows.
