These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Storaby website and your purchase of personalised storybooks. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. About us

Storaby provides personalised children’s storybooks printed and posted in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@storaby.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your place of residence) to place an order. You confirm that information you provide is accurate and that you have permission to use any photos or personal details you upload.

3. Products and personalisation

Each book is made to order using the details and images you supply. Previews (where offered) are illustrative. Colours and print finish may vary slightly from what you see on screen.

4. Orders and pricing

Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges (if any) will be shown at checkout. We may refuse or cancel an order if there is an error in pricing, stock/print capacity, suspected fraud, or incomplete personalisation data.

5. Payment

Payment is taken when you place your order through our payment provider. You authorise us (and our provider) to charge the payment method you select.

6. Delivery

Delivery estimates (for example, 3–5 working days within the UK) are guidelines and not guarantees. Delays can occur due to personalisation, printing, or carrier issues. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provide.

7. Cancellations and returns

Because books are personalised and printed to order, change-of-mind returns are generally not available once production has started. If there is a print or manufacturing defect, contact us promptly and we will reprint or replace the book where appropriate.

8. Your content

You grant us a limited licence to use the photos and text you provide solely to create and deliver your order and to provide related support. You must not upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site (including attempting to disrupt it, scrape it without permission, or use it for unlawful purposes).

10. Intellectual property

Our website design, branding, story text, and illustration styles are owned by us or our licensors. Your finished personalised book is for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

12. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you may have.
